Hotels

Let's take a brief moment to talk about how my uncle convinced me to get a hotel for my 12 hour overnight layover in St. Louis.

This layover will take place on May 14th-15th.

The minimum check in age for a hotel is 21 years of age.

... I turn 21 on the 16th.

I called the hotel. I will have to call back when it is 3pm St. Louis time to speak with the front desk manager. Her name is Laura...

let's send Laura good vibes.

Asia

I love this asian restaurant here in Germany named "Asia". Sister Jones and her family took Bob and me out there tonight. They didn't tell me that they were going to tell the restaurant that it was my birthday.

This guy comes around the corner with a firework candle thing. People begin to sing happy birthday. When the song is over I ask "Am I meant to blow it out?" Apparently not, so I allow it to finish its flame. Then, the waiter comes back with my gift. A nice set of glass or ceramic chop sticks.

Where is that going to fit in my luggage?

Why is my shower an ice cube.

We haven't had hot water for a few days now.

Nice COLD shower!

Room temperature would be fine, but this junk was mountain water cold!

59 Posts...

So my blog time in Germany is almost over and I noticed that I have 58 post, with this making 59. It is now apparent to me that I want to round this blog off with a nice multiple of ten. So I will either write one, eleven, twenty-one, or thirty-one post. I highly doubt that I will get any where close to forty-one, so we will not be discussing this here.

I want to point out also that I have been watching a lot of British people on YouTube, and not having a lot of contact with people speaking American English, so all of my thoughts, especially when I am on the internet, are thought with a British Accent, specifically English. I would therefore like to ask you to reread this post with that particular accent and amuse yourself.

I will end with the repeated notation that I myself would like to one day live in England or another part of the British Isle where I will gain a proper accent, and possibly raise children with identical accents. Odds of this actually occurring = 1/259.

HOME?

In exactly one week and one hour I will be boarding a flight that lands in America!
(And by America I mean London, get on another flight, New York, get on another flight, St. Louis, wait 12 hours, get on another flight, Denver, hug my brother, get in a car, sleep drive to Colorado Springs, then land in America for real, but you you know, same thing.)

All this assuming my brother is the one who gets up semi early on a Sunday morning and drives to Denver to pick up his ever so exhausted little sister.

LH and RJ SKYPE!

I love these Kentucky girls!

Let's talk about that side ponytail!
We can note that I was looking up scooter laws in Kentucky.

Good one!
